Dear members and families,

CPRFC recently held its AGM. We are very pleased to welcome Pat Joyce (Assistant Gear Steward), Andy Waszkiewicz (Assistant Ground Controller) and Gustavo Ruvio (Committee Member) to the committee for 2024. We still require a social media and website coordinator. If you are interested, please contact Lance on president@connellspointrovers.com.au. During the AGM there was a lengthy discussion, where some amazing proposals were put forward that would enhance member experience. Unfortunately, due to minimal volunteers these proposals will unlikely be implemented. If you are able to assist, please attend the committee meetings that are planned to held on the 4th Monday of each month at Poulton Park in the Club Room. The meetings will be advertised.

2024 Registration
2024 Registration opens on the 3 January. The CPRFC committee has voted to NOT increase registration fees for 2024. The club will source other forms of revenue to cover the increase of between $5 to $20 per player that has been put into place by Football New South Wales (FNSW) and Football St George (FSG). CPRFC will also be covering the referee fees. Don’t forget use your AKV by 31 January before the criteria changes.
There is an U5 grade this season for players that turn 5 years old in 2024

2024 Team Organisation
• Trials for U8 to U11 advanced teams will occur early February
o Any player can attend trials
• Once advanced teams have been organised then team organisation for U5 to U11 will take place where team formation is based on friendship groups
• U12 to U18 teams will be player graded
2024 Season Start Dates
• Start dates for U5 to U18 are 6/7 April
• Start dates for AA , O35, O45 are 22, 23 or 24 March

January Holiday Clinic
CPRFC will be running a 2 Day Rover Academy Holiday Pre-Season Clinic in the January holidays on Wednesday 24 & Thursday 25 January 9am to 12pm.
