Coaches and Managers Thank you BBQ

With the 2016 season drawing to a close, it’s time to reflect on the year. It’s been another very successful season with 4 of our teams making State Cup grand finals and 2 of them being crowned State Champions (13A and 18 girls). We’ll have more than our share playing Champion of Champions too. Our competitive teams have all made their presence felt with almost all progressing to the semis. Our non-comp teams have also acquired many new skills and friendships and are ready to progress to the next stage. Overall it’s been an outstanding year for Connells Point Rovers; a very fitting 50th season of soccer for our Club!

We’d like to say thank you in a small way to our coaches and managers and cordially invite you and your family to a lunchtime BBQ at Poulton on Saturday, 3 September. We’ll start at midday and will have free food and soft drinks. BYO other drinks. You can also take the opportunity to bring back kits on the day.

We need to order food so please RSVP by 26 August with numbers attending.

There are also a few key dates coming up -
Nominations for team’s player award required by 26 August.
Presentations have been scheduled for Sunday 11th and 18th September.
